Loved it!!

My daughter is 6 and has severe non verbal autism. I have never heard her scream her own name before, but every night we read this story, and every time we get to her name, she screams it and puts her arms in a big muscle form. She's so happy she is the hero!! In a world that doesn't make sense seeing yourself as a hero is hard, so when she did it made her so happy.

There aren’t enough stars for this book. It’s truly incredible. The illustrations come to life, the story is uplifting and historical. My son is seven and really into historical figures right now, watching his face as he saw himself experiencing his own history brought tears to my eyes. I highly I highly recommend this story and especially capturing the image and spirit of your own child throughout the pages. Extra extraordinary.

Amazing Story Adventures

The print quality of these books are amazing! The pages are nice and thick with a hard cover bound. The colors are so vibrant! The illustrations are gorgeous and the resemblance is exactly like my Grandson. His face lights up when he sees that it is him on the front cover and that he is part of the story. We love reading the stories together and learning the lessons within. He gets excited waiting for his next adventure to be shipped. Best part you can pick your next adventure story each month. How does a personalized Magic Story book work?

Upload one clear photo of your child and add their name. We turn the photo into an illustrated character and make your child the hero of the story, with their name throughout. Each book is printed to order as a hardcover. See which photo works best.

Can I see a free preview before I buy?

Yes. Create your child’s character from one photo and see a free personalized book preview, with no account or credit card needed. The preview shows your child in a scene or on a cover from the book you choose, not every page. See how the free preview works.

Is my child’s photo safe with Magic Story?

When you create an avatar for a personalized book, we do not save the original photo you upload. We save the illustrated avatar created from it so you can personalize your stories. We do not use customer data, including uploaded photos and generated avatars, to train AI models. You must be the child’s parent or guardian, or have their permission, to upload their photo. What ages are Magic Story books for?

Magic Story books are made for children ages 2 to 10. Younger children enjoy them as read-alouds, and older children can follow the story on their own. Some books give their own age range on their page.

How much does a Magic Story book cost?

In the US, a personalized hardcover is $44.99 on its own, or $24.99 a month with a Magic Story+ subscription, which saves $20 on every book. Some books and sets are priced differently. Shipping and tax are added at checkout, and each product page shows the price for your country. See how much a Magic Story book costs.

How long does delivery take, and where do you ship?

Every book is printed to order. In the US, delivery takes 5 to 10 business days from your order with standard shipping, or 5 to 8 with expedited shipping, including 3 to 5 business days of printing. You can shop with us from Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States, and checkout shows the delivery estimate and shipping rate for your address. Order a book by December 10 with standard shipping, or by December 14 with expedited shipping, for delivery by Christmas Eve. See how long delivery takes.

Can I give a Magic Story book as a gift?

Yes. Grandparents, family and friends can personalize a book with the child’s name and a photo their parent or guardian has approved, then enter the family’s address at checkout. In the US, you can also send a Magic Story+ gift subscription, and the family personalizes the books themselves. See how to buy a book as a gift.

Can siblings, grown-ups or pets be in the story?

Each book stars one child, so for siblings, make a book for each child. Some books also include a parent, grandparent or pet alongside your child, and the personalization steps show which characters each story supports. In the US, adding one costs $4.99 more.
